We have a new version of SA GCP!

On 15 June 2021 the updated SA GCP 3rd edition of 2020 was published on the website of the South African Health Products Regulatory Authority (SAHPRA).
These guidelines now replace the previous version.

The document has been completely redesigned from the ground up to align it with ICH GCP (R2) and current trends in the clinical research arena.

SAHPRA has indicated that sites have 3 months to document training on the new version (before Oct 2021). The updated training does not affect or replace the 3 year GCP certification cycle, but is a requirement.

You can download the new guidelines on the SAHPRA website.

If you have questions around the new guidelines, or training options on the update, please contact CREDE.
