Short online training for updates to SA GCP 3rd edition 2020

CREDE is accredited by the Health Professional Council of  SA  (HPCSA) for GCP training and offers CPD points for all courses. The ICH E6 GCP Investigator Site Training meets the Minimum Criteria for ICH GCP Investigator Site Personnel Training identified by TransCelerate BioPharma Inc. as necessary to enable mutual recognition of GCP training among trial sponsors.  Courses are presented at an organized venue or at the client’s convenience on site.

Since January 2011, GCP courses should meet set minimum standards. GCP trainers need to be approved and accredited by the HPCSA.  CREDE surpasses all of these minimum requirements:

  • The training provider must have gone through an application process overseen by the HPCSA. This process will assure that a minimum standard for GCP content is achieved
  • The courses must focus on the SA GCP guidelines as well as the other appropriate regulations and guidelines
  • Beginner courses must be a minimum of 8 teaching hours with ethics discussions
  • Refresher courses must be a minimum of 4 teaching hours with ethics discussions
  • In order to receive a GCP certificate a post course assessment with a 70% passing score needs to be achieved.

Researchers (investigators, research staff, etc.) need proof of GCP training once every 3 years. A beginners course is required if a person has never done any GCP training before.

Thereafter the course done every 3 years could be either a refresher course or another beginner’s course.
